In this episode, PCF had the privilege of partnering with the renowned World Bio Markets conference in The Hague, where experts from various fields come together to discuss the latest advancements in renewable material technologies and their applications. Join us as we share live impressions from the conference and highlight key interviews with industry leaders who are driving change towards a more sustainable bio-based future.
These impressions are split into two parts, in this first one, the following speakers will present their thoughts and ideas, Goizeder Barberena Ibanez from CENER (National Renewable Energy Center) shares their current work and challenges. Gayatri Keskar from Material ConneXion, discusses the potential and characteristics of materials and their performance in design, while also, emphasizing the importance of education across the value-chain. Tomas Vucurevic from BRAIND discusses the concept of ingredient branding, stresses the need for collaboration and networking to solve the problems, while also emphasizing on the importance of legislation. Paul Ranshuysen from Royal Cosun, who works on valorizing agricultural value-chain, explains their “Connect” platform, highlighting the broad range of applications and markets.
Concluding, we also feature Paul MacDonald, partner and owner of World Bio Markets, as he discusses the importance of commercialization in accelerating the adoption of bio-based solutions, and shares his favorite quote from the first day of the conference.
